MAGNIFICENT MONGOLIA: An Exclusive Journey for CENFINITY’s Valued Customers by Central Department Store

When it comes to truly elevated travel experiences, few can compare to the ‘Magnificent Mongolia’ journey — a one-of-a-kind expedition specially curated by Central Department Store, in collaboration with Central The 1 Credit Card and Beauty Gems. Designed exclusively for CENFINITY’s most distinguished clientele, the trip was led by Khun Siriket Jirakiat, Executive Director of Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited, and Khun Charita Leelayuth, Chief Executive of VVIC Customer Management, Central Department Store Group under Central Retail. Together, they delivered an extraordinary journey that will be remembered for a lifetime.

The legendary journey began upon arrival at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar — the world’s coldest capital city, yet warm with Mongolian smiles and heartfelt hospitality. A private fleet of specially selected Land Cruisers with personal chauffeurs transported the group to the elegant Shangri-La Hotel, a luxurious sanctuary in the heart of the city. The first evening set the tone with a stunning welcome dinner at Highland Park Mongolia, one of Ulaanbaatar’s most scenic viewpoints, opened exclusively for CENFINITY guests. Attendees savored the exquisite Mongyu Steak — a rare fusion of tender Wagyu beef with authentic Mongolian flavor — while watching the golden sunset illuminate the yurts scattered across the landscape.

The following day, guests visited the iconic Gandantegchinlen Monastery, Mongolia’s largest Tibetan-style Buddhist temple. CENFINITY arranged a private blessing ceremony at this sacred site, home to the world’s tallest indoor statue of Avalokiteshvara. A gourmet lunch followed at Hutong Restaurant, offering Beijing duck and an array of refined Chinese dishes. In the afternoon, guests enjoyed an exclusive private shopping experience and a special fashion show hosted by Gobi Cashmere, showcasing the globally adored elegance of Mongolian cashmere.

Another highlight was a meet-and-greet with Michel Amazonka, the world-renowned designer behind the official attire for Mongolia’s Olympic team for Paris 2024. Guests were surprised with an exclusive handcrafted designer handbag, identical to the one gifted to the national athletes — a dream-come-true keepsake.

As night fell, guests were transported to the luxurious HS Khaan Resort, where they experienced 5-star nomadic glamping in deluxe Mongolian yurts. Combining ancestral wisdom with modern comforts, the resort is nestled in one of the world’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.

On the next day, the group embarked on the ultimate highlight: the Golden Eagle Hunters Festival at the CENFINITY Eagle Master Campground. This exclusive event featured the ancient Berkutchi tradition, a 250-year-old Mongolian practice of hunting with golden eagles. CENFINITY organized a private Eagle Master Cup competition for honored guests — a spectacle rarely seen outside Mongolia. Hunters traveled all the way from Sagsai village in Ulgii, training their eagles for over a decade. These majestic birds, weighing up to 15 kilograms, can spot prey a kilometer away and dive at speeds of 320 km/h.

Guests had the rare opportunity to pose with the hunters and their golden eagles, all beautifully captured by world-renowned photographer Jetnipat Ketsapradit (JKBoy) — creating timeless memories to treasure forever.

The final day of this once-in-a-lifetime journey concluded with a visit to the world’s largest equestrian statue — the Genghis Khan Equestrian Monument, built on the very site where the legendary conqueror is believed to have found his golden whip. The group then checked in at the Terelj Luxury Hotel, a former royal palace nestled within the scenic Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, wrapping up the trip with grandeur and serenity.
